Hotel du Lac

In a dark tunnel from Touchdown Jesus to the House that Rock built
Warm smells of oranges rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw shimmering light.
My head looked up and I saw the #1 on Flanner hall.
Would we ever stop winning?

There she stood on top of the Dome;
I heard the Basilica bells.
And I was thinking to myself :
"This could be Heaven or this could be Notre Dame"
Then Weis lit up a top 10 defense, and he showed me the way.
There were voices rocking the stadium

I thought I heard them say:

Welcome to the University of Notre Dame.
Such a football place, such a Heisman place, always in the BCS race.
Plenty of room at Notre Dame.
Any time of year, you can find National Championships here.

His mind is genius-twisted, he's got the “Playstation Offense”.
He’s got a lot of tough, slick players that he calls NFL candidates.
How they dance in the stadium, sweet fall victories,
Michigan dances to remember, we dance to go to the Dance.

So I called up the Captain:
"Please bring me number 14"
He said, "We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen eighty eight."
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake up the echo’s in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say.............

Welcome to the University of Notre Dame.
Such a football place, such a Heisman place, always in the BCS race.
They livin' it up at Notre Dame.
Never a surprise, when you’ve got Weis.

Welcome to the University of Notre Dame.
Such a football place, such a Heisman place, always in the BCS race.
Plenty of room at Notre Dame.
Any time of year, you can find National Championships here.
